Maintain 52.4% of undedicated revenues as the funding formula for education
Evaluate the County and Board of Education funding formula to address maintenance and growth and redefine dedicated/undedicated revenues
Respect the autonomy of the elected Board of Education and the Superintendent of Schools
Support adequate public facilities policies that result in proper support and funding for the construction and operation of new schools
Ensure collaboration and communication between the County Government and those who dedicate themselves to the education of our children

ENDORSED BY THE TEACHERS OF CHARLES COUNTY:
Candice has been endorsed by the Education Association of Charles County (EACC) for President of the Charles County Commissioners.
The EACC is the local affiliate of the Maryland State Educators Association (MSEA). The EACC has over 2,000 members, represents the teachers and school administrators in the Charles County public schools (CCPS) and has been the exclusive bargaining agent for the certified employees of CCPS for over 40 years.
Candice is honored to have the support of the EACC and will continue to work for the students and educators of Charles County; recognizing that our children are our greatest resource.
